So I'm sure everyone has noticed the rise of the Valentine's day posters, cards, presents and general adverts EVERYWHERE!
As a couple I'm sure it's lovely to have an excuse to spend the day showering someone else or being showered in presents and the excuse of going out for the day or night.
However as a single girl it can be a little bit daunting and depressing! Particularly if all of your friends (like mine!) will be spending it with their other halves.
Personally I'm almost looking forward to it as an excuse to buy myself a few presents ha!
Seeing as it's a Tuesday, I will most probably be spending my day in Uni and then the evening I'll be spending it totally on me!
I fully intend on having a pamper night so will begin by having a bath, most likely with a Lush bath bomb like their Leap Frog Bath Bomb or Magic Mushroom Bubble Bar:
Then I will probably work my way through the absolutely amazing Soap and Glory Big Splendour set.
After a good scrub and moisturise, I will also probably fake tan as I always feel so much better with a bit of colour! And then spend some time painting my nails and toe nails, I haven't decided what shade yet as I plan to buy some new ones!
If I have the time though I will probably try out a design found on another blog as I'm new to the nail art world and will probably need some practice.
I like this one from Polish You Pretty :
I could be tempted to watch a girlie chick flick film, but I'm more of an action film girl at heart and am much more likely to be found watching the Bourne trilogy, some Quentin Tarantino film or even potentially Harry Potter! (I'm a little obsessed!)
I think anything that has the potential to last a few hours for a filmathon is a winner in my books!
I will also probably be treating myself to a Whittards White Hot Chocolate, get my sweet chocolate fix without munching my way through an entire box ;)
Just because I'm single doesn't mean I can stuff my face and get away with it!
I'm not going to the gym for nothing ;)
So there's my plan for a single girl's night in. I'm sure it would be even better if your friends are single too, I'd invite them round for a girls night in!
If only it wasn't on a Tuesday, then you could crack out the bottles of wine and make a couple of cocktails! (Maybe do it anyway if you dare??!)
What are your plans for a single girls Valentine's day?
It's just another day hyped up for everyone to spend a lot of money really, but I'm using it to my advantage!
