Valentines Day as a couple

So here's the second half of the valentines day post. For me this year I don't want to go out. I'm personally someone who prefers to stay in with a man and have a nice cosy meal together. I'm lucky now, I live with my partner so it's easy for us we have our own place. If I was living at home (like we were last year) I'd want to go out.

Anyway onto this year, we've decided to get the Marks and Spencer deal. We are both working so cooking a nice meal isn't really an option. Plus this way there is no washing up which means more cuddling up with a chick flick (I'm hoping I can persuade him to watch one)

The food options from Marks and Spencer are amazing, we've gone for spanish cured meats, steak and chips, triple chocolate puddings all washed down with a sparkling wine. I can't wait, and of course lit up with my pink sands yankee candles!

As for presents, he's told me I have a surprise. Being a typical girl I love anything, jewellery, chocolates and flowers all go down well with me, unless he's picked up my hints for a clairebella bag. For him his favourite chocolates. It's all low key here for us. We are saving at the moment and I think the best thing is to spend time together.

If I was getting him presents they'd be random things I know would make him smile. I may pop into town and get him some today. Not a present buying occasion goes by where I don't get him lego (men never grow up and a wise man told me, they always like something they can play with). My other half doesn't wear jewellery so that's also out of the question to buy him (men our so awkward)
Other presents I'd get would be a nice clothes or games I know he'd want. I'll also be making us some tasty baileys truffles.

Hope you all have a great valentines whether you're in a relationship or not.

Love M xx
