Hey All
This is another of the posts I've been meaning to write for a while, so as I'm travelling down to Cornwall I thought I would share it with you.
As soon as I heard Lush was opening a spa I was pretty excited, I love going on spa days with my mum or friends and as I love all things Lush I couldn't wait to try it out. Back in January I bought my mum a treatment for her birthday so we could go together when it was open.
L and I went to the press launch opening and we loved getting to explore the new store, if you've not seen it or been to the store you can see our post Here. The spa isn't like any others I've been too and I couldn't wait to show it to my mum.
The whole theme is like country cottage to me and full of amazing reclaimed wood, charity shop finds and fresh flowers. It's so nice to try a different concept in a spa. The toilets and showers are full of lush products to use and try (my mum tried the foundation tint then had to go buy it downstairs as she loved how it was on her skin.)
From the moment you step into the spa you feel special, as you arrive in store there is someone waiting for you with a blackboard and your name on, we got treated to hand and arm massages whilst we waited for our therapist.
The therapist then arrived to take you to the kitchen area to fill in the normal spa forms and chat you through the treatments, I was having the Validation facial and my mum had the Sound Bath. You can book double rooms for some treatments but we had separate rooms, my treatment involved a trip down to the store to discuss products I wanted my therapist to use and these were placed on a slate to take upstairs, they give recommendations and you can also choose new products to try. I opted for a few new bits and a few old faithfuls. They also how you want your skin to feel and how you want to feel to personalise the treatment to you.
This is the slate the products get put on but this is from a different time trying out products, I chose the Ayseha mask and it was sat in a rose, it looked so pretty!

I've got to confess I didn't take photos in the treatment room as I was all about relaxing and making the post of it.
Each treatment has a personalised sound track to match the treatment, mine was really good and zi wanted to buy it as I kept thinking my OH would like the songs, it's part songs part sounds and some talking at some points.
This isn't just an expensive facial it's a total experience and every little thing has been thought out, when we entered the treatment room it was cleansed with a bowl of fruit and dry ice. The treatment starts off with temple balms and cleansing, there are massages, face masks, sensory experiences and more. It ended with me being gently sat up on the bed having a little back massage then a drink to suit my experience being made, mine was an amazing fruity water and juice, my mums was something mint and honey esque.
We both loved our treatments and felt so comfortable and relaxed and will definitely be back again. Allow extra time as we were there about 2 and a half hours in the end as we couldn't resist a quick browse in the shop after.
Have you been to a lush spa? I would recommend it to everyone it's and experience and you
never feel rushed during it.
Love M
