Review: Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter

I don't know about you, but I've read millions of things about this butter, and wasn't going to bother writing another one...famous last words eh?

I'm absolutely obsessed with it!

I had a miniature version in a set and then also 2 big pots for Christmas, I take the mini one with me to the gym which means I use it most days and the best part?

When it's empty all I need to do is fill it back up from one of the big ones!

I am honestly in love with a moisturiser and I never thought that I'd like it quite so much.

The packaging is the usual pink and retro style which I do really like considering I'm usually more of a fan of simple and styled packaging.

The smell is amazing as you'd expect, according to ASOS it contains 'bergamot, strawberries and mandarin, with floral and fruity mid notes and musk, amber and warm vanilla notes on the bottom'

It's a very thick creamy butter type of moisturiser, and can take some work to get it to sink in.
If you're in a rush then this probably isn't the moisturiser for you

Normally I use something like a lotion when I'm pushed for time, but this is perfect for when you've got that little bit of extra time and the results are worth it.

My skin feels so smooth after its been applied. I went to the gym in the morning, applied this afterwards and even when I got home after a day at uni my mum could still smell it on me and commented how nice it was!

I would definitely recommend this, and whilst the price (at £10.50 per tub) is a little high, the 3 for 2 offers are constantly running in Boots so it's well worth waiting for them to come around!

What do you think of the Soap and Glory Original Pink smell?
Have you tried the Righteous Butter and loved it or hated it?

This is yet another soap and glory product I absolutely love (there are some I don’t like we will be reviewing soon). It’s a super thick body butter that sinks into the skin leaving it feeling so soft.

I have very dry skin on my legs all year round so only use body butters as I find them more moisturising and this is one of my favourites. Yes it isn’t the cheapest but it’s worth it and boots usually sell it on 3 for 2 so it’s definitely worth stocking up then. I find in the summer I use this and flake away, they make a brilliant combination used together for gorgeous summer skin.

The pots do last a while due to how thick the product is it goes a long way. Also the scent of this deserves a mention, it’s amazing. So much so when I’d put it on one morning and had forgotten to put on perfume a colleague commented on how nice my perfume, which was actually the smell from the body butter. I love good scented body products especially when the scent lasts all day.

What’s your favourite body butter?

Love M xxx
