Cosmetics, Shopping and Intoxication (CSI) is written by two girls who met at uni doing a BSc in Forensic Science and one day realised we were far too similar!
Let us explain.
Our first sociable event outside of lectures involved a 20 minutes dash to River Island where we both managed to spend a small fortune (somewhere in the £100s) before the shop closed around us.
This was when we realised we were to be pretty good friends!
Less than a week later the uni custom of consuming a rather large amount of alcohol whilst wearing a small fancy dress costume resulted in us ending up on the dance floor throwing some crazy unidentifiable shapes thinking we were the bee's knees.
Long story short, it developed into an obsession with shopping, beauty products, cocktails and spa days. We're also big fans of cake!
M is currently a medical lab assistant in a hospital by day, and glamorous baker by night.
L is a MSc student by day (and almost every waking hour) and manages to squeeze in a respectable few cocktails whenever possible.
This blog is hopefully going to justify our seemingly addictive behaviour for spending money on the latest must haves and pretty much anything and everything our eyes can spy.
