Lush Metamorphosis Bath Bomb

Hey all!

Hope you're having a fabulous week - I've been off work for the last 2 weeks after a car accident but I'm feeling so much better now. I never realised how much whiplash and general impact could affect you, fingers crossed it's over now.

One thing I've been doing whilst being off is having a fair few baths (to help the aches!) so I've been working my way through my stash of new bath bombs. The first is Metamorphosis from Lush which we both picked up from their new Cardiff spa store when it opened.

Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb

Hey all!

Lush bath bombs are a blogger fave - and we are not any different. It has taken me a long time to come around to baths as normally I prefer showers and don't have the time or patience to run a bath and lie in it - I get twitchy!

However, now that I have my own house and as a consequence not having much money, baths have become a treat for me and I've been enjoying catching up on all of the bath bombs and bubble bars that Lush have to offer - it's hard but someone has to do it, right?

Today's review is all about the infamous Intergalactic bath bomb. It has had many many reviews and instagram posts (you can check out mine @thecsigirls!) but I couldn't resist sharing my own thoughts too.

The bath bomb starts by looking like the image below, blue with streaks of pink and a hint of sparkle.

Dunking it into my bath and giving it a spin was the best start, the blue colour just exploded everywhere and the bath bomb fizzed away.

After a few short minutes the whole bath was a really dark blue and glittery, that was when the pink, yellow and green started to come through.

Can't resist setting the scene with a few products and candles too!

This bath bomb contains peppermint oil, grapefruit oil, vetivert oil and cedarwood oil so it is really uplifting and invigorating. Peppermint and grapefruit are some of my favourite scents and I obviously loved the art work in the bath too!

The Intergalactic Bath Bomb will set you back £3.95 and it's worth all of the pennies for a beautiful scene of space in your own bath - I mean making your own constellations in your bath is pretty cool!

Have you tried Intergalactic? Of course you have! Isn't it a dream?!

Lush Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb

Hey all!

It's been bath bomb crazy the last few weeks since our Lush event, M tried out the Humpty Dumpty Bath bomb and I've been trying out the Rose Bombshell.

How pink and pretty is this!

Untitled

I love the bright pink and the light blue swirling through it, and it smells amazing just coming out of the packet.
It contains rose and geranium oils and Sicilian lemon and smells truly girly and indulgent. As you drop this into the bath it fizzes and swirls away and the outer shell breaks away revealing the petals inside.

The bath was instantly super pink and the bathroom smelled amazing, it was exactly what i needed the evening I used it!

I set up my candles and grabbed the latest Women's Health mag and had a lovely long soak.

The Rose Bombshell bath bomb was £3.95 and it was worth every penny for my sanity! Bath bombs have grown on me significantly the last few months and this is probably the girliest one I've used yet, and i loved it!

This one was picked up at an event recently so I'm not sure how long it will be available for. I would definitely recommend it though and will pick some up the next time I'm back in the Lush store if i can!

Have you tried the Rose Bombshell bath bomb? Which has been your favourite of their recent products?

Lush Frozen Bath Bomb

Hey All

Another Lush Review today. As I'm sure you can tell by now L and I are massive lush fans. I spent way more than I should in the Lush Sale but probably won't share much of that on the blog as not much of it is still available.

Today I wanted to share the Frozen bath bomb. I first saw this when we went to a lush event and just had to pick it up. Not only because of the name but it smells great too. It contains Grapefruit, Rose and Neroli oil so smells really fresh!

I love bath bombs that totally transform the colour of the bath and this is one of them. As soon as it hits the bath it fizzes away to an amazing brilliant blue colour.

How cute is my new pug bath plug my mum got me. I didn't realise he was upside down at first!

As well as turning the bath brilliantly blue it also leaves it sparkly silver. The perfect tribute to Frozen!! And although the bath is glittery you don't come out looking like a disco ball or finding the sides of the bath covered in it!

One last thing I loved about this was how soft my skin felt after. I don't know if it's from the oils it contains but my skin felt lovely after this! This is one I'll be repurchasing!

Have you tried the frozen bath bomb yet?

Love M
