Colour Trend Lip Stix Foxy Fuchsia

Hey All

Happy Monday! I finally dragged my ass back to the gym after only running and kickboxing for the past two months. My first pump class was a struggle but it was great to be back in the gym!

A few months back I couldn't resist some new lipsticks from Avon. I've had the Colour Trend Lip Stix before so when I saw need shades I had to order. I've shared Reddy to Go before on the blog which is an amazing red you can see here.

One of the shades I picked up was Foxy Fuchsia! The packaging is the same as before in a twist up pencil style. I do love that the makes it easy to apply. It's a smallish tip meaning you can get good definition in your cupids bow.

Colour trend is a brand aimed more at teens and a younger market so the packaging suits that. I love the lip products. They are £4.50 each or a bargain 2 for £4. I love that Avon usually have offers.

This didn't disappoint with pigmentation, it also easily applies and doesn't drag. It goes on easily and application with the stick type pencil makes it really easy to apply. It leaves a slightly glossy finish to the lips and doesn't dry out.

Foxy fuchsia is a soft pink colour. I think it's true to colour to the photo above but can look different in different lights. It's a warm pink and seems to still flatter my winter skin. When I first bought it I thought it was more of a summer colour but I am loving it with pale skin and blue hair!

There are an impressive ten shades in the colour. I only have 3 but I can see more being ordered. They are a great one to throw in the handbag to reapply as they don't bleed. Now to choose which shades to order next!

Review: Avon Colour Trend Lasting Smile Lip Paint in Melondrama

As I'm sure you'll be able to tell I'm loving Avon make up lately, I placed quite a big order before I started my project 10 pan so I've had lots of new things to keep me going. I'm a huge lipstick addict. I have 50 + now and my make up doesn't feel complete without bright lips.

The Colour Trend range of make up is aimed more at teenagers which is reflected in it's packaging and price.  The Lip paints retail for £3.75 but are on offer for a bargain £2.25 here. Another good thing, judging by how close melondrama is I'd say the swatches on site are pretty accurate.

It has a simple white packaging with purple writing. The white has stayed surprisingly clean while in my handbag. It has a clear lid which makes it easy to see the colour of the product. The lid stays on securely.

I choose the shade melondrama as I usually would have picked the other 3 I thought I'd pick something I usually wouldn't. It's an orangey natural lip colour on me. I'd say it has a slight hint of a rose colour to it. It's very watermelon like.

It glides onto the lips smoothly and easily and the tube makes it easy to apply.

This is the lipstick in natural light. It's a great everyday shade that makes lips look done without being over the top if you aren't as comfortable with bright colours.

Untitled

It does have a subtle sheen to it which I normally am not to keen on but with this colour it really suits it. It also really lasts well.

It's a great all round lipstick and perfect for the price. Once my project 10 pan has ended I'll be ordering lolita! Have you tried these? or colour trend products?

Haul

I was very lucky when I went home last weekend and my mum had been picking me up a few bits. She's an Avon lady so got me a few bits from the new catalogue to as a treat. She's definitely been helping me through my ban. Though she has been teasing me a little too by sending me great deals.

She popped into Buyology which is a cheap shop in Somerset which sells loads of stuff. You've got to hunt for a good deal. She picked my up some pore strips which I'm very grateful for. I've been wanting some more of these for ages. I've not tried this particular brand before so I can't comment on them yet.

She also picked me up some make up sponges. They were only 99p and I'm sure I'll find a use for them. I'm going to replace the tatty one in my powder compact first off. I don't tend to use them for foundation but I may try for that soon.

I picked this out of the clearance offers. I think it was around the £3 mark. I love body lotions and go through them so quickly. Plus I love the scent of this one. I have found a great body soufflé which is currently half price at the moment. £3.50 here

This nail art tool is great. It has a very small dainty brush and a small dotting tool so will be great for any type of nail art. Best of all it's half price and only £1.50 currently here.

Lastly I got some more lipsticks. I'm such a huge lipstick lover! I can't ever resist them.

The Color Trend lipstick (the pencil type on at the front) is currently only £1.99 here. I got the shade Reddy to Go. It's perfect for chucking in my handbag as it's great for on the go applications as it's a pencil type on so it's easy to apply. It's such a pretty red on. It lasts great but does dry a little after a good few hours.

The two silver lipsticks are from Avon Perfect Kiss Range. I love the silver packaging and the attention to details. They have Avon embossed on the bullet. I have these in the shades Berry Smooch (a bright pink) and Racy Red (a gorgeous red with a hint of plummy pink). I love these. They are long lasting and amazing colour. I want more of them now. There are so many colours and they are £8.50 each but currently on 2 for £12 here.

I think the flash shows the colour of best. Top to bottom Reddy to Go, Fuchsia Flirt and Racy Red.

A huge thank to Mummy M for spoiling me with some treats. I'm so pleased to have new lipsticks. I needed some new lipsticks. She's good to me. Have you tried many Avon products? I've tried quite a few and love their lip products!
