Review: Avon Perfect Kiss Lipstick Berry Smooch

I picked this lipstick up a while (haul here) the other lipsticks I got are reviewed here and here. I really like Avon lipsticks and make up products. I'm especially loving one of there mascara's at the moment but I won't go into too much detail about that as it's unfortunately discontinued now. I hate it when they do that.

I think it's fair to say I'm now a lipstick addict. The amount my collection has grown in 18 months is crazy and my tastes have definitely changed, I've have never chosen a colour like this before.

This is one of Avon's Perfect Kiss Lipsticks. Described as:

'Full-coverage lipstick with natural oils and triple action smoothing complex gives you soft, smooth lips, that look instantly fuller, ready for a kiss!'

These lipsticks are very pigmented and do glide onto the lips without dragging!

I love the silver packaging, it really stands out in my lipstick drawer and makes these easy to find. The stamping on the bullet makes the lipsticks appear more expensive in my opinion and I love it.

Berry smooch is a vibrant lilac/purple toned pink. It really stands out on the lips. I think of it as a brighter version of Mac Plumful. It's got the same tones to it.

I've got naturally dark lips and as you can see here this lipstick is very pigmented and sits on the lips beautifully.

These next few photos are in natural light and show the lipstick most true to colour in my opinion.

The lipstick lasts really well and due to oils in it isn't drying at all on the lips and leaves a slightly glossy finish.

I love this shade for everyday when paired with simple eyes. It's also great for nights out with smoky eyes.

It can be picked up from here for £8.50 but is currently on offer for 2 for £10 across certain make up. I'd suggest getting Racy Red too as it's stunning!! Caressing Coral and Natural Glow are next on my list!!

Have you become more into lipstick lately? I'm such a bright colour girl now. My make doesn't feel done without it now.

Review: Avon Perfect Kiss Lipstick Racy Red

I was lucky enough last time I went home my mum had purhcased me a few products and this lipstick was one of them (you can see the rest here). Avon were bringing out a new range of lipsticks and I'd been eyeing up the colours. You can see them all here. They are currently on offer for only £4 so I'd snap them up quick. The colour I'm showing you today is Racy Red.

I love the packaging. It's silver so stands out against my other lipsticks so I can pick it out easily. The lid is secure and it just has Avon simply embossed onto it. I love how they'd carried this through and also embossed the bullet of the lipstick with Avon. I love this touch and think it makes the product seem more expensive than it is.

Racy Red is quite a pink toned red. I find this makes it really easy to wear and very flattering on my paler skin tone. It's super pigmented and one swipe leaves the lips well coated.

It has a slight shine to it when on the lips which I love but it's not over powering like a gloss lipstick. It doesn't drag on the lips either. I would say though that it does seem to end up on my teeth when ever I wear it so make sure to check your teeth after application.

It also lasts really well on the lips and leaves and even staining (no lip liner effect) on the lips. It's not drying on the lips and provides great colour.

I absolutely love everything about these lipsticks. They provide great colour, great lasting power, stand out packaging and easy application. It's also a red I find easy to wear. As it's got the pink tone to it I find it looks better than a true red for everyday. As they are from Avon you can usually get them on offer. Don't miss out on these while they are only £4. Such a bargain.

Have you tried the Perfect Kiss Lipstick? Are you a red lip fan?

Haul

I was very lucky when I went home last weekend and my mum had been picking me up a few bits. She's an Avon lady so got me a few bits from the new catalogue to as a treat. She's definitely been helping me through my ban. Though she has been teasing me a little too by sending me great deals.

She popped into Buyology which is a cheap shop in Somerset which sells loads of stuff. You've got to hunt for a good deal. She picked my up some pore strips which I'm very grateful for. I've been wanting some more of these for ages. I've not tried this particular brand before so I can't comment on them yet.

She also picked me up some make up sponges. They were only 99p and I'm sure I'll find a use for them. I'm going to replace the tatty one in my powder compact first off. I don't tend to use them for foundation but I may try for that soon.

I picked this out of the clearance offers. I think it was around the £3 mark. I love body lotions and go through them so quickly. Plus I love the scent of this one. I have found a great body soufflé which is currently half price at the moment. £3.50 here

This nail art tool is great. It has a very small dainty brush and a small dotting tool so will be great for any type of nail art. Best of all it's half price and only £1.50 currently here.

Lastly I got some more lipsticks. I'm such a huge lipstick lover! I can't ever resist them.

The Color Trend lipstick (the pencil type on at the front) is currently only £1.99 here. I got the shade Reddy to Go. It's perfect for chucking in my handbag as it's great for on the go applications as it's a pencil type on so it's easy to apply. It's such a pretty red on. It lasts great but does dry a little after a good few hours.

The two silver lipsticks are from Avon Perfect Kiss Range. I love the silver packaging and the attention to details. They have Avon embossed on the bullet. I have these in the shades Berry Smooch (a bright pink) and Racy Red (a gorgeous red with a hint of plummy pink). I love these. They are long lasting and amazing colour. I want more of them now. There are so many colours and they are £8.50 each but currently on 2 for £12 here.

I think the flash shows the colour of best. Top to bottom Reddy to Go, Fuchsia Flirt and Racy Red.

A huge thank to Mummy M for spoiling me with some treats. I'm so pleased to have new lipsticks. I needed some new lipsticks. She's good to me. Have you tried many Avon products? I've tried quite a few and love their lip products!
