The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops Light

Hey All

As a pale girl finding foundation that matches especially on the high street and that is cruelty free is a struggle. After finding The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops in light I've not looked back, I can now use all my old foundations that are too dark and adjust foundations to suit perfectly dependant on my skin tone at that time!

If you've read our blog for a while you'll know L and I are huge fans of The Body Shop, after going cruelty free I rediscovered a love for their products and have tried loads and got L hooked too, you can see all our reviews here and here.

I'd previously tried some illamasqua shade adjusting liquid so when I saw these in The Body shop I decided to test them out (this is my second bottle now, it lasts ages I think I got my first bottle over 18 months ago and it still has some left I just wanted a back up!). These come in two colours but as I'm super pale I've not tried the darker ones. I always struggle to find foundations pale enough for me and have so many in my collection that I don't wear I knew it was worth trying these. Also as the winter goes on I definitely need to add more of these too my foundation.

The dropper style bottle allows for the easy addition of liquid depending on how much you need to lighten a foundation, I tend to add 1 or 2 drops but some foundations of mine need equal amount. I really love this as it doesn't seem to effect the texture, application or staying power of foundation but just allows me to change the colour.

Do you have trouble getting foundation to match? These are a must if you do!

Love M
