So two weeks ago for my birthday me and M both went to Harry Potter Studios...and I mentioned in this post that I made a sneaky purchase whilst there that I felt I needed to share with you.
I know not all people are fans so I'll try not to waffle on too much, but like many people i am an absolutely huge fan.
When the books were still being rewritten I used to reread all of the previous ones before a new book was out, and then did the same when the films came out.
I also did the same when I got myself an e-book copy on my kindle and then generally once a year I'll reread them all anyway.
I genuinely love them and find new things every time I read them that I don't remember before and think it's such a fantastic story line even from reading the first book published in 1997 (!) when I was 9 until the ripe old age of 25 that I am now which is pretty impressive for a book.
So all that explained....I bought myself the official replica of Hermione's Time Turner Necklace.
Just look at this bad boy.
Yes, I hear you ask, it DOES come in it's own box complete with hooks inside to hang the necklace up.
It is also gold plated, genuinely spins around and the sand in the middle moves through like you'd hope it would.
This ladies (and possible gentlemen).... is my new pride and joy.
If there was a fire in my house I am not even ashamed to admit that I would pick this up as one of my first few items. After making sure my family and dog were ok of course!
Admittedly i took a lot of pictures of this because it's so beautiful.
It came in at a price tag of £39.95 which is generally quite expensive for a necklace for me as I tend to wear costume jewellery that doesn't last long in fashion etc but this one is never leaving my neck as long as I live!
The detailing on it is incredible.
Not only does it have the three separate spinning discs but also has engraved around the outsides:
'I mark the hours, every one, Nor have I yet outrun the Sun. My use and value, unto you, Are gauged by what you have to do'
I am in awe. Look at the star detail in the centre:
It's just so pretty isn't it?? It's also the perfect length which surprised me as i thought it looked quite short.
You can see the length as modelled by myself below:
But aside from the Harry Potter relatedness, wouldn't it be great to actually be able to time turn??
Imagine how much more you would get done in that time.
I could really do with it sometimes so I can catch up on sleep, jobs and workouts and then leave the rest of my time to read, socialise and blog ha.
And obviously do something worthwhile too...end world hunger...find a cure for cancer...

I guess you can't have it all.
But in the mean time I can stare at this beauty around my neck and rest assured that I own a gorgeous piece of HP memorabilia.
I'm on the hunt for a Deathly Hallows tshirt or vest, are there any Potter fans out there who know where i can get a decent one??
I'm beginning to get a little obsessed again!
Are you HP fans? Have you been to the studios and bought anything??
