NOTD: No7 Totally Teal

I think this was the last nail varnish I bought from No7 using my vouchers (the amount escapes me as I was in there a little while...!)

This is Totally Teal:

It's admittedly more of a winter colour, but due to the wintery cold and rainy AWFUL weather that we've been having I felt it was appropriate to wear!

It's a gorgeous colour and is quite opaque, these pictures were 2 coats and I used the No7 Top coat to give it the shine that you can very clearly see.

I did find that this one was a lot harder to apply than the other colours I bought (Crave Me and Cheeky Chops) and I seemed to have quite a bit around my nails, but maybe that was just me having an off day!

I love this colour, and whilst I was really enjoying brights in the sunshine, my favourite nail colours will always be nudes and darker shades, so this was right up my street!

It fits into my collection quite nicely as I don't have any other colours like it.

What do you think of the colour? Have you been wearing brights even though the weather has been so bad?

Review: Sanctuary Radiance Exfoliator Brightening Facial

I have been using this product for quite a while now.
I ended up buying it originally on the 3 for 2 deal last year sometime and absolutely loved it!

I'm talking about Sanctuary's Brightening Facial Radiance Exfoliator.

It's a brown coloured scrub with a few different types of sandy bits in.
It has a gel like substance that glides onto wet skin like a dream.

I love the feeling of it, it doesn't dry out the skin nor is it too rough so doesn't feel like its damaging on the skin.

My favourite part of this is the smell....it reminds me of sitting in a pub in a garden in the summer with a pint of ice cold coke with lemon in it.
The lemon smells AMAZING and even if the product didn't work I'd still use it for the smell ha.

As if that wasn't good enough, lemon juice is known for being a good exfoliator and can help diminish acne and heal scars, winner!

I love this exfoliator and it does wonders for my skin without feeling harsh or damaging as lemon can on sensitive skin sometimes.

I would definitely keep buying this, especially as it's on offer in Boots quite often :)

Have you used this product before? Have you used any other Sanctuary products?

NOTD George 71 Boom

Whilst shopping the other day I wondered down the make up aisle and saw this gorgeous blue shade. At the bargain price of £1.75 I couldn't leave it sat on the shelf. The bottles aren't as big as some and are 5ml but this doesn't bother me as it's rare I'll use a whole bottle of nail varnish.

The nail varnish is a decent size and easy to hold and use. Some smaller bottles I find tricky but the lid makes for easy application. This shade is so pigmented and was opaque in one shade. It's a nice thickness too.

This shade immediately caught my eye as it's such a pretty shade for summer and would be a great blue shade for if you are feeling patriotic for the Jubilee this year. I'm tempted to try some cute nail art with this.

What a great coverage, apologies for it being messy, I was just about to do the washing up which I find is any easy way to remove the bits from around your nails if you can't be bothered to get out the cotton buds.

My only negative, I wouldn't say it's fast dry like the bottle states, but a top coat can sort this out.

Have you tried any George nail varnishes? I'll definitely be picking up more.

May Wishlist

I can't believe it's May already. Doing these wishlists are making the year feel like it's speeding by. Aprils wish list can be found here.

So how much did I buy from Aprils wishlist. I got a claireabella bag, photos to follow soon as it hasn't arrived yet. I got the polo bag which can be purchased from here. I will do a blog post when it arrives. The originals are being released this week and I'm hoping my OH will be able to get me one as a birthday present.

I did get Fanfare and I love it. It's the perfect your lips but better shade and I've worn it most days since purchasing it. Sorry Angel you now take a back seat.

As for the tangle teezer I've decided to wait a while after purchasing a brush specifically for extensions off ebay for a bargain £2 mark. This is specifically designed with loops so it doesn't catch on the micro rings.

So onto May's wishlist.

Clothes

Skinny jeans are back, I need to replace my black ones and after purchasing some dresses from New Look that I now want to return I've decided to just buy them. I'm hoping to pick up a new pair of the perfect black skinny jean.

I'm hoping 32inch will be long enough, normally I'm a 34inch but they don't seem to be showing them online. If not maybe I'll finally get some coloured skinnies.

Make up

As I know have £10 worth of points on my beauty card I think I may treat myself this month to a MAC eyeshadow and lipstick.

I'm currently deciding between these four. High Tea, Lady Bug, Ravishing and See Sheer. Do you own any of them? What one would you pick?

As for the eyeshadow I'm deciding from these. This will be my first eyeshadow so I'm thinking a neutral brown, I've swatched satin taupe and sable in person and love both. Do you have any I've picked or a different shade you'd recommend?

Hair Care

I want to try a new heat protection spray and have heard so much about the GotToBe Guardian Angel one. I have the hairspray in this range and it's amazing. Have you tried it? What heat protection spray do you use?

Body

After L sent me a photo of the new Soap and Glory sit tight intense I knew this was something I'd have to try. We are both huge fans of the original sit tight (review found here) being a pear shaped girl any weight I gain goes to my bum and very top of my thighs so I find myself in a constant battle to get rid of it. I can't wait to try this, expect a review once it's been purchased. I love the little massage balls it now comes with. Are any of you guys eyeing this up to. At £16.50 it's not cheap so I'll be waiting for 3 for 2.

Another wishlist done, another expensive month it seems. There is always stuff I want and I'm not good at resisting. What's on your list for this month?
