So ladies as I'm sure you're all aware this months Elle magazine comes with a free full size soap and glory mascara from there recently released make up range. I've been wanting to try out pieces from the make up range so when I saw this in the supermarket I had to pick up. Plus £3.90 for a full size mascara, BARGAIN.

Valentine's Day: As a Single Girl
So I'm sure everyone has noticed the rise of the Valentine's day posters, cards, presents and general adverts EVERYWHERE!
As a couple I'm sure it's lovely to have an excuse to spend the day showering someone else or being showered in presents and the excuse of going out for the day or night.
However as a single girl it can be a little bit daunting and depressing! Particularly if all of your friends (like mine!) will be spending it with their other halves.
Personally I'm almost looking forward to it as an excuse to buy myself a few presents ha!
Seeing as it's a Tuesday, I will most probably be spending my day in Uni and then the evening I'll be spending it totally on me!
I fully intend on having a pamper night so will begin by having a bath, most likely with a Lush bath bomb like their Leap Frog Bath Bomb or Magic Mushroom Bubble Bar:
Then I will probably work my way through the absolutely amazing Soap and Glory Big Splendour set.
After a good scrub and moisturise, I will also probably fake tan as I always feel so much better with a bit of colour! And then spend some time painting my nails and toe nails, I haven't decided what shade yet as I plan to buy some new ones!
If I have the time though I will probably try out a design found on another blog as I'm new to the nail art world and will probably need some practice.
I like this one from Polish You Pretty :

Everyday Favourites
Good Saturday morning to you all!
Hope you're all enjoying your weekend so far. I thought it was about time I did a post on my every day uses!
I am currently going through the usual January spring clean, trying to use up old things and bottles with tiny amounts left in them so my make up box for every day stuff looks a little like this at the moment....(eek!)

Cocktail Hour!
Well thank the lord its Friday again!!
Here's a little early pick me up for everyone facing those last few hours of slavery...
Here's a little early pick me up for everyone facing those last few hours of slavery...
This week I'm championing the Long Island Iced Tea, basically as it's one of the most lethal combinations of alcohol and I absolutely LOVE it!
It contains a mixture of vodka, rum, gin, tequila and triple sec (Cointreau), muddled together with ice and topped up with Coke. Dangerous right??
It's normally served in a chilled tall glass as it's another long cocktail just like last weeks Bellini.
There are a few variations of the recipe, but most have equal parts of all five spirits shaken with ice, lemon juice and sugar syrup.
The glass is filled with ice, before being topped up with Coke (regular/diet/pepsi whatever takes your fancy!) and then slowly the mixture is poured in to give the double layer effect, and garnished with a lemon.
