Hi all!
As usual we've been eating our way around the capital and one of our favourite lunches comes from Crumbs. We've been there quite a few times now, we know exactly what we're getting and would keep going back again and again!
As usual we've been eating our way around the capital and one of our favourite lunches comes from Crumbs. We've been there quite a few times now, we know exactly what we're getting and would keep going back again and again!
Crumbs Kitchen can be found in Morgan Arcade, it's surrounded by an amazing selection of independent stores including antiques, clothing, salons, stationary shops and a great selection of food.
Crumbs is somewhere I've been going with my mum for years, it's hidden away so you may not know it's there and we've always preferred supporting local businesses instead of going to the nearest Starbucks.
I decided Mia would also love it so we went here once and never looked back, their salad bowls are a particular favourite!
On arrival you can see the fridges full of bowls of salad, everything is vegetarian and there's a really good selection
We like to choose the salad bowl and then occasionally a few extras. The salad bowls come in 2 sizes and you can choose 3 types of salad, most recently I chose crunchy coleslaw, beetroot and a rice based salad with peanuts.
As for the extras you can choose to have items such as a boiled egg, hummus, falafel, seeds, cottage cheese and all sorts of others. There's definitely going to be something for everyone!
Another option we really enjoy are the pies. They normally have 3 or 4 in the fridge, including spinach and chickpea, spicy potato and cheese and mushroom.
They also have jacket potatoes, soups, lasagne, chilli con carne and curries available on their hot food menu and you can imagine they all look and smell amazing. As they're vegetarian they are also really reasonable, you can find the online menu here for prices
We love going here and supporting local businesses, wandering around the arcades is always a fun way to spend a day. They are normally quieter than the chain high street stores and have so many more individual and unique options.
There has been a campaign over the last few weeks for the City of Arcades, there is still a few days left for you to cast your vote and choose your favourite arcade in the city!
