Beauty Rehab

Gooooooooooood morning!

Today's post is so well overdue that I can't believe I didn't overflow my house with empties. This is in fact not even all of them as some were doubled or tripled or even more and I couldn't possibly photograph them all! I've also tried out a new photo idea but I'm not sure it's going to work out, so let's get to it and I promise I'll try harder next time...!

I've had a few weeks of tanning for various events and took the opportunity to use up a few outstanding products too.
i will always love the St Tropez gradual tanner as it works so well, but the Dove one does the same for much cheaper so I'd buy it when it's on offer but with my current budget wouldn't repurchase the St Tropez.
The St Tropez mousse is also outstanding, but again for budget reasons would only buy on offer, which is a shame!
The Garnier Ambre Solaire spray is another favourite and half the price, I find it the best product to tan my back and hard to reach areas but I also use it when I don't want to stain any clothes and am in a rush - but the fallout usually means I have orange soles of my feet!
I think the Sally Hansen had gone off to be honest, it was chalky and in the end time to go. The same has to be said for the Cocoa Brown tan, I did like the mousse but this was actually green when it came out and didn't seem to work any more which is odd as it isn't that old but never mind!

The Piz Buin was a great idea until I realised I was using more tan than moisturiser and so the mix wasn't even. It would be a great idea if you could buy them separately to attach yourselves as and when you use them up - Dragon's Den anyone??
Good Things face wash - there were many of these in my empties and I will continue to buy these great cleansers that are free from many nasties and a great price, especially when on offer! The manuka honey cleanser is also a favourite and is shown somewhere below.
Origins Perfect World moisturiser was a lovely moisturiser if a little greasy at times, I prefer Ginzing to be honest.
Stila One Step primers are always beautiful with the swirls and the hydration is great, expensive though and nowadays there are many cheaper alternatives so i wouldn't repurchase.
Vichy Dermablend powder - I love this and have already repurchased when it was on offer with the foundation. My skin loves it and I love the silky feel!
Lacura Eye Gel - repurchased already, one of my best purchases from Aldi especially for less than £4 and it's super hydrating even for my sensitive eyes

Again Good Things are GREAT, cannot fault their range and price
Origins Drink Up mask is my favourite, I always seem to have a few from various gift sets I buy for myself (ha!) and I love it for wearing overnight
Origins Ginzing moisturiser is one of my favourites too, I'm saving my Boots points up so I can buy it when on offer in future!

The Champneys collection was from a birthday present in March, I love citrus scents so my aunty did well! The shower gel, scrub and moisturiser were all lovely but I don't think these are available to purchase separately.
Origins Out of Trouble mask is the best mask to sort out congested skin. It feels cooling and works to get rid of spots event the huge red ones without a head, definitely recommend and will repurchase with my points soon!
Garnier Ambre Solaire Facial tanning spray is awesome, saves me from having to rub any heavy and perfumed creams into my face and is yet to make me orange, good stuff!
Rimmel sun shimmer Instant Tan - I think nowadays I'm too old to use instant tan, the thought of having a drink spilled on me and then tan running down my legs isn't desirable so I think I wouldn't repurchase again
REN Glycolactic Mask - I liked this and the orange scent was lush, but I probably wouldn't repurchase this as I'd prefer to use some glycolic acid and do a peel at home for better results as although this brightened my skin the effects didn't last long enough for me.

Untitled

Aussie is the best hair brand for my hair at an affordable price range (I love Marula Oil and Bumble and Bumble too amongst others but Aussie is cheap and cheerful!) Love it and always have a stash handy
Lush Wash that Man Right out of my Hair - can't say I liked this to be honest which was a shame as I normally love Lush products, the smell was a little manly and it was a bit like blood! Just weird.
As mentioned, Dove and St Tropez are favourites but Dove will be repurchased for budget reasons, why pay more?

Untitled

Origins High Potency Night a Mins - another favourite from Origins this is the night moisturiser and my skin drinks this up like nothing else, it smells divine too!
Origins Modern Friction is also the best facial scrub, my skin is unbelievably polished and soft afterwards but £35 plus is expensive!
Lacura Facial Serum Oil is another bargain from Aldi and has been solving my skin dehydration issues whilst I can't afford more. It's great value for around £4 and I've bought tonnes of bottle - why wouldn't you when premium brand serums are ten times the price??
Vichy Dermablend Foundation - a permanent fixture in my make up bag, love love love
JPG MaDame perfume - I still love this but it seems to have been discontinued from every department store, I will need to find a new one soon but I only like Chance by Chanel....it's a first world problem!
Last in this picture are the MAC eye brow pencils in Spiked, I loved this and would repurchase for ultra brow definition

Untitled

Phew were almost at the end! I really have been using my stash as much as possible to make space and declutter.
Another Origins, Checks and Balances is a favourite face wash but sadly at £17 plus for it I can't justify buying it now when others are £4/5 and on offer regularly.
Lacura Q10 Serum - another Aldi fave and one I'm currently using, award winning as well so you really can't go wrong with this, try them out!
Batiste Dry Shampoo - the original and best, best scents and the brown coloured one is a life saver for mornings when my hair is a state!
Laura Mercier Hydrating Foundation Primer - this was left over from my days before being a home owner! I really like this and would repurchase, hopefully one day I can!
Crabtree and Evelyn Foot Smoother - this was lovely and cooling and took a long time to use, was bought as a gift and I wouldn't repurchase for myself as its a treat thing but very lovely

Untitled

And the final image!
Rimmel Stay Matte powder - love love love and i have three more in my make up collection ready. Perfect for every day make up
Collection Lasting Perfection concealer - another every day product and I have repurchased this again too!
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer - the absolute best and the product I would choose to use every day if I could, need to repurchase this soon for weddings!
Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara - a great mascara from Rimmel, I'm a fickle being when it comes to mascaras and Rimmel and Maybelline are my go-to's for them always

So that was an absolute mammoth post of empties, I'm going to make a brew after writing that!

How have you been working through your stash? One day I'll have control over it right??
