So two weeks ago for my birthday me and M both went to Harry Potter Studios...and I mentioned in this post that I made a sneaky purchase whilst there that I felt I needed to share with you.

FOTD Gold Eyes using Naked 2
Let's start by saying I absolutely love my Naked 2 palette. I honest think it was the best money I'd ever spent on make up. For ages I insisted that my MUA palettes were just as good and this was an expensive extra that I did not need. That all changed when I bought it. Since October I honestly think I've used this palette everyday except for maybe a few odd days. It's so easy to wear the colours. This shows in the fact I've now hit pan on the beautiful Bootycall shade which is such an easy everyday colour. After hitting pan on that I've tried to now start using other shades. Hence today's FOTD.
The shades Half Baked (this is the only shade that appears in the original Naked palette) a yellow gold shade and Chopper, a more warmer rose gold shade, appealed to me. I know golds are meant to be good on people with blue eyes so I decided to start wearing them more.
The best thing about the Urban Decay eyeshadows is that they all blend incredibly easy. I started by putting my brush in Half Baked then touching it in Chopper. I sweep this over the lid then apply more of Chopper through the crease for a slight definition.
This is a really easy lazy day make up. I finish off with a bit of my trusty Bootycall to highlight the brow brown and a slick of black liner to finish and my eyes are done.
I love this look., It'll be great for summer as it's really warm type of shadow. Perfect for evenings on holiday and it's also not too much that it can't be worn everyday. I paired this look with an orange toned lip!

Review: Avon Color Trend Lip Stix
Sorry for a late night posting. I've had such a busy day! In a good way though.I'm a huge red lip fan, they easily make you look done up with quick simple make up. I mentioned this Colour Trend Lip Stix in a recent haul and came courtesy of my mum!
This is from avon and currently is on offer for £2.25 (link here) I love that Avon always have good offers on there make up. The Lip Stix come in 5 shades, I want quite a few of them!
The packaging is really simple. It's a simple twist up pencil style lipstick. The packaging is more aimed to a younger market as that's what Avon intended for the Colour Trend range. You can get some great bargains in this range. I don't mind the packaging. Nothing stand out about it but it's small and great for putting in your handbag and the packaging is sturdy enough.
I got my lipstick in the shade Reddy to Go. It's a gorgeous red shade with a slight pink tinge to it. I find this looks a lot better on me. It has a satin finish to it.
This was applied quickly here and as you can see is easy to apply. It does need some neatening around the edges but can be easily applied on the go for a quick easy red lip.
In natural light it's quite a true red shade. It's a smooth to apply, doesn't drag and is long lasting.
The pencil type lipstick means that I can easily define my cupids bow. This is a bargain lipstick and gives great results. If you are scared of a red lipstick this is a great starter one. I'm such a huge lipstick fan and my collection really is growing at a ridiculous amount.
Have you tried the Lip Stix?

Spending Ban Update 11
Yay I can say I've not broken the ban this week (that was needed after all I bought last week, you can read that here) I've had such a busy week I've not really had the time to break it.
On Tuesday night I had to rush back to my parents house after work (which is about a 2 hour train journey from me) to attend a funeral on Wednesday, I had work again on Thursday then on Friday I had work and was back to my parents on Friday night. I booked myself a week off work so I['m currently enjoying some family time. Altough it's very busy. Not that I mind less chance to distract myself with shopping.
I've had a lot of presents to buy for this week so my money has gone on that. So I'm still getting to shop even if it is for others. My Grandad is 80 tomorrow so I've been making him a photo framed filled with memories and I'm going to get busy baking soon as we are doing him a surprise afternoon tea tomorrow! I love baking and my mum has bought me a few new bits to make some cute things for his tea party.
I've also got my dad's birthday on Wednesday. How hard are men to buy for. They have everything. For him his year we've got him an olive tree.
So no time to shop means good results for the spending ban. L is coming down to visit me on Saturday and we are going to Laura Mercier. I really can't decide between Silk Creme or the Tinted Moisturiser. Any thoughts? I really need to resist buying a dress for the evening. I packed in a rush to come home as I was relying on a dress I thought I'd have but it doesn't fit :( boooo being very pear shaped!!!
I'm hoping I can jazz this dress up with heels and jewellery so it will be ok.
Enough rambling from me, Here's my Wishlist
