Hey all

At the end of May we headed to a Spectrum event in Cardiff (you can see that post here. We couldn't wait to go as it was not only a brand with the prettiest brushes but it's a brand that's Welsh. We love supporting local!
Spectrum was founded by two sisters and it was great to hear their story! They also reminded us of how we are together so it made us love them more.
Spectrum do the most beautiful brushes, I reckon you may have been living under a rock if you've not seen or heard of the Glam Clam brushes! Not only are they Cruelty free as well as vegan, these brushes come in a shell case!!
Although we'd admired from afar we'd never seen the brushes personally so couldn't wait to touch them, these do not disappoint they are sooooo soft!!! I need the Bomb Shell set next, it's got amazing brushes in.
At the event we were lucky enough to have the Must Have Minis set, luckily for me L has more willpower and kept her's pretty for photos whilst I got stuck in to testing them out.
I couldn't wait to try the A17 eyebrow brush, I'm always looking for a great brush for my brows and this is perfect, it's firm and fine enough to get detail where I want it and it's not too small meaning my brows don't take forever.
The A01 and A05 are super soft, the contour brush is a great size to get into the cheek bones and both brushes pick up powder well and distribute on the face evenly.
The A03 isn't one I was immediately drawn to but I do find a traditional style foundation brush best for applying my Illamasqua skin base. This picks up liquids well and blends without brush marks.
These brushes didn't disappoint and I'm so glad they're now stocked in Boots (congratulations ladies!!!) for easy stock up. I'll definitely be grabbing more
Have you tried Spectrum??

Hey all!!
How lucky were we to get a few of the wonderful Spectrum brushes?! I definitely spent a few days staring at mine and just touching them, they're so beautifully bright and soft that I wasn't sure I could actually use them.....but I have now!
One thing I love about them is the two colour design, these are the ultimate girly brush and a real indulgence for me - I normally stick with monochrome with the odd bit of metallic (the Marbleous set is perfect for that!)
I also love that they fee really sturdy but aren't too heavy, and they have each individual brush number stamped onto them. They have ABCD, A for Application, B for Blending, C for Contour and D for Duo Fibre (contains a range of stipple brushes for liquid products such as highlight and primer).
My personal favourite has to be the A01 brush because it's so soft, but I've getting use out of all of them......so much so that when they had a sale on their website recently I just don't know what happened but some of their other sets fell into my basket! Oops!
If you haven't seen their Shell range or the Marbelous range you absolutely must, they're gorgeous and we've got our eyes on them for future purchases. Another thing we love about the range is the new Bride Tribe sets for brides and bridesmaids - they're such a great gift idea.
Have you tried Spectrum?? What are your favourite sets? Which ones will be you picking up??
