Must Have Cruelty Free Make up Brands

Hey All

A few weeks ago L shared her Top 5 skincare products (post here) so I thought I'd do the beauty version, I've been totally cruelty free in all purchases of make up for over 18 months, it's taken some discovery with some brands being shady about it and some brands making the decision to sell in china so are going back to animal testing (Nars I'm looking at you, that decision broke my heart!) Anyway, so here are some of my favourites!

Camelbak Forge: The Ultimate Leak Proof Travel Mug

Hey all

A bit of a different thing to share today but I've spent ages searching for a travel coffee mug that doesn't leak and this one is so good I had to share.

My commute to work involves a 30 minute walk then bus, I like to have my coffee on the bus so I'm always searching for a travel mug I can shove in my handbag and not have to worry about leaking over everything, until recently I had to ensure it was always stood upright but when I was introduced to the Camelbak forge all that change, a mug that's actually leakproof!

The Must Have Wooden Sunglasses from Woodstylz

Hey All

With the sun occasionally poking its head out from behind the clouds in our great British summer I thought I'd share these amazing sunglasses I've been loving.

Last year whilst at Glastonbury (we've shared all of our posts on the happiest place in the world here!) me and C saw a stall selling amazing wooden sunglasses. I've never bought any sunglasses for more than £20 as I lose or break them but the Woodstylz sunglasses kept coming into our head so we both decided to treat ourselves and grabbed a pair. We decided our eyes deserved proper polarized decent sunglasses and it's a decision we've not regretted!

Book Review - Red Queen Series by Victoria Aveyard

Hello there!

I don't think I've ever written a book review before, nor have I ever really adequately described by complete obsession for books. I am totally and utterly addicted, always have and always will be.

For the entirety of my life I have always read and had a shelf full of books, but after university I couldn't always bring myself to concentrate enough. Reading on a computer screen all day at uni/work and then writing the blog often I find I've had enough, but I have read through series such as Harry Potter (countless times now!), The Hunger Games and Game of Thrones amongst others.

I used to get through a book every few days but now I'm lucky to get through a book in 6 months! I've been meaning to change this for a while but it was only recently when I had my car accident that I really took the time to buy a new book and get stuck in (having whiplash was the only time I was forced to sit down and relax!)

The book I chose was 'Red Queen' by Victoria Aveyard, so I'm going to share my thoughts on it and the other books in the same series (without giving spoilers!). I've not read too many book reviews as I tend to go on recommendations from others, so I hope this post covers what you would normally read!
